Experience Rangoli as a contemporary portrait art form through a specialised hands-on workshop focused on portrait drawing, proportion, facial features, colour, tonal values, gradients, hand and finger techniques, and controlled powder application. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN Portrait Drawing — Understanding proportion, facial structure, features, composition and freehand portrait planning. Value, Light & Shadow — Creating realistic facial depth through light, dark values, tonal transitions and gradients. Colour & Skin Tones — Understanding colour placement, blending and tonal variations to create natural-looking portraits. Hand & Finger Techniques — Controlling Rangoli powder for fine lines, hair, facial details, textures and finishing. Each participant works on an 24×30 inch MDF board with brown/white paper and workshop materials including 8 types of Rangoli colours, chalk and cleaning cloth. WORKSHOP PACKAGES 1-Day Demonstration — ₹22,500 2.5-hour demonstration and interactive session. 2-Day Workshop — ₹30,000 Introduction to portrait structure, drawing, values and core Rangoli techniques. 3-Day Workshop — ₹37,500 Practical training in portrait drawing, colour, value, gradient and hand techniques. 4-Day Workshop — ₹45,000 Extended training with additional guidance, detailing and refinement. 5-Day Master Workshop — ₹52,500 Complete training covering portrait composition, proportion, drawing, colour, values, gradients, hand/finger techniques, detailing and final presentation. Group Size: 30–40 participants Additional Participants: ₹1,500 per participant above 40. Eligibility : 14+ VENUE & TRAVEL The organiser must provide a suitable indoor hall, proper lighting, working space and seating. Fan/cooler/air-conditioning and microphone/sound system should be provided where required.
