Pramod Sahu (born 14 August 1991) is an internationally recognised Rangoli artist, cultural enthusiast, and social entrepreneur from Raipur, Chhattisgarh. His journey with Rangoli began at the young age of seven, driven by a deep fascination for colors. Over the years, this passion grew, leading him to establish Chhapaak Art Foundation, an NGO/NPO dedicated to promoting art.  

 

Pramod is known for his stunning 3D and Hyper Realistic Rangoli, blending creativity with traditional Indian and Chhattisgarhi art forms. With over 15 years of professional experience, he has mentored more than 1,000 students through workshops, seminars, and academic programs, focusing on art education and service.

 

As the founder and director of Chhapaak Art Foundation, Pramod Sahu has taken Rangoli to an international stage. In 2017, he represented India at the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi, Russia, where he was among the top 100 artists selected from 20,000 participants—the only Indian Rangoli artist in the event. He further showcased Indian Rangoli on global platforms by performing at Swadeshi Mela (Indian American Trade Fair) - Chicago, USA 2023, and World Art Dubai ( Dubai Trade Centre ) - Dubai, UAE 2024.

 

His contributions to art have earned him numerous awards, including the All India Platinum Award (2018), All India Gold Award (2017), All India Bronze Award (2015), and the prestigious Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Rashtra Nirmaan Puruskar (2018). His dedication to inspiring young minds and spreading the beauty of Rangoli continues through his artistic journey, workshops, and large-scale artworks.
